still lots to do, switch pods, overhead console, lower console (to which I'm fitting a 7 inch touch screen TFT monitor to run my car PC.....new weather seals all round (doors, wondows etc) but its sounding awsome at present and looks amazing inside now that the dash is lit up!

    thanks all for your comments.

The dash is actually very functional too.
The speedo works, as does teh rev counter, oil pressure, temp, volts, the petrol guage even estimates how many miles of gas are left in the tank, and tells you when you're low on fuel!

I got home last night (not in KITT) and must have left the audio CD in as I could hear KITT talking....."I am the Knight Industries Two Thousand" etc...prety spooky walking up the road and hearing my car talking, I think we might actually have created the real KITT! I'm sure that CD was ejected when I went to work and I carry the only key!
