Sorry if this is a bit general but I'm sick to death of either being had off my bike (twice now) and nearly being had off by people who don't expect me to stop at the bottom of Bank Hill (opp the railway pub).

    ITS A STOP JUNCTION.

    NOT A GIVE WAY.

The shear number of people who don't stop if nothing coming from Tesco is staggering.

To any and all Police officers here, wanna make a fortune in fines to upgrade all your motors to type R Accords? stick a camera pointing at this stop junction and i can guarantee you'll be quids in before the end of a single days taping.

I know what you mean. I cringe and brace myself virtually every time I come to a halt at that intersection. It's a joke how people treat STOP signs. It's one of my pet hates!

Let's be honest tho, it's just a terribly designed junction/flow of traffic.

And there's so many stop signs over here where there doesn't need to be. Where I learned to drive there was about 3 stop signs in a 20 mile radius.

Be that as it may, stop means stop. I am not a traffic analyst or indeed in a position to make law changes concerning the layout of traffic junctions. Until I am in that sort of position I will obey what is deemed, by those in positions of authority, to be the law.

I am a member of the IAM (Institute of Advanced Motorists) and as such I obey all signs and road rules.

I am not, however, holier than thou, I just find it frustrating when some people seem to disregard signs/rules sometimes endangering the welfare of others.

The roads are there for all to use, if we were all just a little more respectful towards each other maybe there would be fewer incidents on them.

Probably about the same time as they painted the big white line on the road
According to 118 118 it's not illegal to follow people while blowing kisses, a past time known commonly as stalking. However they cannot answer adult questions such as "what is the average diameter of the inside of a woman's vagina"

CC see's black as black and white as black, so that big white line is black and therefore he can't see it!

Also he has problems reading STOP and instead reads it as GOOO.

    heh
