I currently have all types of drive systems, 4x4, FWD and RWD. Taking the 4x4 out of it as it has mud terrains on it, and they're useless on snow and ice (believe me, i've tried!) i'd much rather take a FWD car out on ice / snow as surely the added weight over the drive wheels would help more than the light boot of a RWD? That said though, if you hit sheet ice you've really got no chance have you?!

Too add to the not so favourable styling all Subaru's have risen in price by i believe 15%. Workin at BC's i know, oh also IZUZU are going up too. Im probably seeing things here, but the dacia Sandero & new impreza are nearly identical? The WRX is nearly over, Subaru arn't building anymore Ohh a good thread Impreza VS Evo?????????

How much are track days? In about 6-8 months time im supercharging my 150hp 230E to about 240hp depending on what type of kompresser i use. Is your 106 China Blue? Bear in mind my knowledge of FWD is based on my experience in a Hyundai Accent XD Bad Car! Glad my mate binned it into a tree. If yours is the China Blue one "I LIKE" lol

Oh yeh dude i agree totally, i mean my gf thought a 4x4 can do anything, i was like errrr...... lol. But RWD,FWD,4x4 and AWD wont get you down an icy hill with 100% safety & grip (Without Adjustments) My dads Doblo is terrible on ice, even snow! Come to think of it, its awful in the rain too!

i would beg to differ, In the right hands a 4x4 truck will go down a snow packed or icy hill in safety and grip, if the driver knows what he is doing.
