    Doesn't look too bad for the cash. I could do with a couple of bits for mine but not really enough to justify ÂŁ300 or so.

    yer i had a look at it wernt to bad needed tidying up a bit but easy id buy it but not a golf man i test drove 1 many years ago never again :lol:

    You must have tested a right nail if you think a 5 turbs is a better car than a golf!!! Still miss my mk1 now, almost wish I'd kept it. Had a mk2 before that too, nice black 3dr 8v. Not the fastest but a good car...

    i wouldnt say r5s are better cars than the golfs as the golfs are indistructible but it felt heavy and slow on take up but ok when get going as they weigh god nos and the renos are really light so fly on take up but pretty pants after 90

    Actually the MK1 and 2 Golf weighs next to nothing.

    But then again you would say a 5 is a better car than a Gumpert Apollo because it's lighter...

    nope as i said i wouldnt say the 5 is a better car than the golf the golfs are well more relible and well more sturdy i wouldnt even class the 5 as a car there more of a toy :lol: i have owned a mk 4 golf gti turbo and a ibiza seat cupra r but didnt like them each to there own
