    Hi Mate

Whats this drive like etc? Is it expensive to run etc.?

I know your trying to sell it however is it reliable? - would it be ok to run to work and back in everyday?

    Thank you, Paul
    If you fancy it

Was on the verge of buying this a couple of months back when Toby gave me the heads up that he might be looking to sell. Tried my absolute best to justify it but just not the right circumstances at the moment for a 2nd car.

It is a fantastic car though. Ticks just about every box! I don't see why you couldn't/wouldn't use it every day.

Its a 2.8l v6, its not going to do a mirrion miles to the gallon but i dailied my mk4 v6 4motion. Much heavier car with a power hungry 4wd system and i got a steady 25+mpg on the island, upto 38 on the motorway!!

A mk2 vr in my book is the best combination. :)

ps 4 motion engine is basically the same engine but with a 24v head whereas the older vr is 12v.

    I'd say it's probably marginally less thirsty than a mk3 VR6 because it's a bit lighter.

As with all these things it's based around what distances you drive and your driving style, I'd have said 25-30mpg on a decent run to work and back every day.
