I test drive a stock one, lovely bus, but 30mpg is optimistic. Think mr Ford may have been using illegal substances when writing the brochure

no, I did a run from ramsey to douglas and back with careful driving and the trip comp had it at 29.8mpg...... When driving norm I get between 22 and 25mpg depending on the run.

It is what loans are for but I couldn't justify it... plus I have me Cupra still so I still get my kicks Plus I need a car with roofracks for kayaking... Putting roofracks on that would be sacrilidge! :O

Not being funny mate but a 30 mile average run isnt very scientific when it comes to the ST. Between 22 and 25 sounds more realistic. Not sure if you are a member of focusstoc.com but they have done a poll with over 2000 members replying on MPG of their car :- I have seen your car around and it does sound very good so good luck with the sale.

Trust me, on the way up the mountain u get down to about 20mpg, then as u hardly need to touch the accel on the way down the reading goes up to almost 30mpg. Maybe the onbord comp is a bit 'over the top' or something but that is what it says to me.
