Hi all.
Just got van back from garage. I'm assuming they have disconnected battery as radio now displays code. Need tools to remove radio to get serial number. Van is a 2007 transit with 6000cd radio in it. It needs 4 little insert tools. Same as fiestas and other fords. Does anyone have said tools I could borrow please?

You sir are a genius! Your guess is also correct. No service book and no codes. I can get the code if I have the serial number and part number. That requires removing the radio! Pugguy to the rescue

If it was pre 2007 you could use a coat-hanger cut into 4 bars... but the 2007 onwards uses 4 special flat key's - typical ehh! I think I have every type of radio removal key aquired over time..

Indeed. Looks like I will have to visit sooner. Need radio in van!! Its best after 7 for me on most nights. Is that cool with you? Alternatively I may have a valet in Douglas that I can pop in afterwards. I'll be in touch

Thanks for the input chaps. It is now sorted. A very good person off another forum (ford transit) manged to get me a code without removing my radio or anything. Genius
