  • SVA a car on the Island?

    Hey,

I'm looking at buying a project car from the US, given its condition it will be several months before its up and running.

My question is this, is it possible to have a car SVA'd locally? Has anyone done it and if so did you have any problems?

Even if the car was a 100% I'd still be keen to have it done locally as there are subtle differences between the IOM and UK rules, such as no emissions testing or requirement for fog lights on 'old' cars in the IOM test.

    Cheers

    Simon

    Lol not even close :D

From the research I've done thus far I'm not sure there's one of these in the UK.
