Never actually seen one other than on tv and internet. be interesting to see one on the island. as i have never actually seen one upclose, my mind isn't made up if i like them or not. Look forward to seeing it about.

Plus all gulwings are iconic, the delorean is a lemon but would i own one given the chance? phuq yeah!!!!

Basically a TR7 with gull wings? Was hoping it was secretly a 300SL and the nothing German was just to throw me off course.....

I'd love a 300SL, however I'd love enough money to buy one even more I'd guess a TR7 if they where made of plastic and fitted with either an AMC or Ford 5.0L V8

Either way it'll be good to see another American classic around.
I'm assuming because of its age it'll only be £20 to tax?

Yes the SV-1 pre-dates the D by several years manufactured between 74 and 76 so only £20 and classic insurance. Only the petrol to worry about

As a weekend car it'd be fine, wouldn't fancy it as a daily though!

Should be fine to have it sva'd here, mine was even though it landed in the uk. It's where you register it that it gets tested. I just drove mine home so as long as its capable of that and has some form of number plate you should be fine.
