ok peeps. changes fuel filter and stuck some super unleaded in, took couple of days to clear itself but its fine now.Hope some one has any idea what these error codes mean.

P0132 Upstream Heated Oxygen Sensor circuit Voltage High - Bank No. 1.

P1132 Lack of Upstream Heated Oxygen Sensor Switch - Sensor Indicates Rich - Bank No. 1.

Any ideas, i was thinking maybe lambda sensor??

As you have already found out this is your lambda sensor- Which controls the idle circuit (up to 3K rpm) as per my previous posts- If this fails you will get a rough idle & progression, they typically fail safe-meaning it will go into 'run rich' mode.

The lambda may not have nessesairly failed- but got clogged by poor fuel...run your car for a good few journeys (tank & a half) and then re-test the ecu... If it is still faulty replace it.

In the mean time no, above 3K the engine should run as per normal...Under 3K then as you say it is running rich- running rich will not kill an engine but you will probably find starting & idle problems + lot of black soot at the tail pipe...

yeah there is quite alot of soot on the pipe, cleaned the ICV, and it idles really well, but sumtimes can be abit hesitant.

im orderin the sensor tomoz, how much do you charge to stik it on the diagnostics jon,??

Putting it into diagnostics mode is easy to DIY ...

Press and holding the trip reset and turning on the ignition to position II will put the instrument cluster into diagnostic mode.

After it's entered the diag mode the display will show a different string of information e.g "gage" "leds" "88888" you'll eventually get to "DTC" and it'll flash out a number or say NONE.

If you carry on pressing it you can read of battery voltage, rpm and approx miles left on the current fuel load.

Once you have your code type it in here http://www.autodiagnostics.info/search. ... ice=&pg=10 and it shoudl dsiplay the fault.....

How did you do the diagnostics to read the lambda codes?
