Its a myth that you have to have a break after so long, my mum was on the pill for about 20 years. I should imagine that constantly swapping pills would do more damage

I thought all the pills were hormone type things?

They changed my mrs' ones a few months ago and she's been feeling knackered & stuff since then.

Basically there are two different types of pills, the combined pill which contains the hormones oestrogen and progestogen. The other pill just contains one hormone progestogen.

I always thought it was Progesterone....

I am a silly man after all though. :shock:

For what it's worth they are both hormones.

Well i'm on the combined, i need to start taking mine again today after my break but i dont know whether to take it an see how i go or not take it until i've seen the doc, oh the decisions

I was thinking that, but then i run the risk of throwing up in work again, but i suppose its prob the only way to get anything done about it
