Tonsils out? (edit: today!)

Has anyone had their tonsils taken out before? What was it like? I'm getting mine taken out on the 1st Nov and I'm sooo scared

does it really hurt? :cry:

i've never had it done, but i'm presumin it;s not that intrusive a proceedure, but i assume your throat will be very sore afterwards, and i know a few friends who lost their voices afterwards!

I had mine out when i was 9, its a really simple operation but to tell you the truth your throat will hurt alot for about 2 weeks after

i had my out it does hurt ur throat 4 a bit and ur voice does change a bit makes more sound like a proper barbie lol haha it is better to give head wit them out fit it down more haha lol xx
