    how gutted would you be if you were 12 and we're getting a lift to secondary school an had to be sat in a child seat cuz you're a short ass??

    its sh*t........but they dont need full seats at that age....just boaster

    i think we are rapping our kids in cotton wool abit too much now........just hope it dont come in ova here

    Depends on how you look at it.

    If u had a child who was seriously injured in an accident due to them wearing a normal 3 point seatbelt you maye have a different opinion.

    Losts of kids put the top part of the belt behind their back as it cuts into their neck.

    By doing this they only have a lap belt which , in an accident can cause serious injuries. Its not uncommon for the child to be paralysed when wearing only a lap belt during a serious accident.

    Cant they invent some little magic seatbelt adjuster that lowers the seatbelt so it doesnt cut into their throats? lol

    Majority of toddle car seats already have them, but again my ex's lil lad refused to have the belt over his should so used to pull it under his arm.
    Now some guy has invented a belt adjuster, should be in the shops by now, it was on dragons den last week and got the backing from them also.
