When I leave M&S I like to make sure I have a gap in front so I can come out onto Victoria St at a good speed which usually results in panic and horns from those idiots coming down the street who seem to think I should have stopped at the INVISIBLE give way sign. I then stop, holding them up , get out and invite them to point out said INVISIBLE give way sign, when they can't I then encourage them to go to the sea terminal and buy a highway code. I am though secretly waiting for someone to run into me so I can get the rear arches of my car repaired on their insurance!
If there are no idiots to play with coming onto Vic St its only a matter of yards before I come across the professional drivers of the taxi rank who seem to think its OK to actually park in a cue in the left lane of upper Vic St. Again this time its my turn to use my horn, this usually results in them spilling their coffee and dropping their newspaper, its better to make them get out of the cab and come and speak to you cos it really makes them mad especially when you ask them how long will the tow truck be cos its clear they and all there mates have broken down, why else would you park in the middle of a traffic lane I say !! Problem is the damn police or traffic wardens turn a blind eye so we have no hope only good fun winding them up.
