Is this a Manx thing ? Why is it that 9.5 people out of 10 can see an invisible 'give way' sign when entering onto Victoria street from M&S car park, without fail they pull up and let all the traffic past and wait for a gap. This drives me insane, then of course they do the same at the bottom of the street turning left onto the prom. ITS CALLED A FILTER LANE FOR GOD'S SAKE

Yep, this. Your options are to wait at the junction, or wait behind the first taxi in the "filter" lane before you can pull into the main lane. Either way you're going to be holding people up.

Looks like i'm a bad driver then, the speed some people reach in such a short distance there is no way in hell i'll be filtering anywhere!

Or alternatively you could be like the woman who narrowly avoided driving into me the other day in Victoria Street - Oblivious!

Lots of areas that aren't on a test route......make of that what you will :)
