Mountain road

I've seen (been behind) quite a few drivers over-taking very close to, and in some cases around, blind corners on the Mountain Road recently (people who think their cars are faster than they really are). I doubt its anyone on here but still:

Please guys if you want to over-take a slow truck/vehicle wait for a straight. If a bike or car was coming around those corners at speed you'd be mush. I know painfully slow drivers are annoying, but give yourself and your car more space than is needed in order to over-take. It's not worth the risk.

I was just saying to the mrs this morning that a lot more people seem to be driving like idiots over the mountain at the moment. As you said, there seems to be an increasing amount of people overtaking either approaching or around blind corners.

Especially with the weather improving there are more bikes coming across it at speed too which need to be taken into consideration when overtaking.
