Happened right on Windy Corner and seemed to involve one silver (MG?) car on its roof a minute or two before I got there.

    Hope everyone was ok.

Not heard anything about this. Anyone know any more about it. Thought windy was suppose to be safer after the govt spent all that money making it faster!!!

Strange thing is, the car was on its roof quite literally right on Windy Corner. So if it was carrying any speed (presumably the cause of the accident), I'm not sure why it didn't travel further.

Came past on the bike not long after it happened.
Car on its roof was a old style Megane.

Lol I said it was a Megane to the missus but, seeing as though I was driving and trying to avoid debris and various parts on the road, half-trusted her decision that it was an MG.

So an old-style silver Megane with chav rear lights. I think driving round with an early black scooby and red Pulsar.

    7.30 tonight?

The 'accident' was about half 2 / 3ish today.

Didn't know anything other than the Megane was directly involved/damaged though. Might explain the odd place the Megane ended up though if they were overtaking each other round the bend.

The early black scooby and a slightly later red scooby were trying to race me over the mountain earlier in the day as well.

Doesn't sound the most sensible behaviour in the world if that's true.

Hope no-one was hurt as suggested. They're lucky it happened where it did, and not somewhere with a steep drop off the side of the road like a lot of the mountain.
Sounds a bit odd to end up on their roof on a corner like that though. I'm not going to speculate about how that happened, but there's probably a fair few people thinking similar things...
If you don't like my comments, don't cause me to write them. How simple is that! :)

Half the reason I'm posting really. I was through a couple of minutes after it happened and the Megane seemed to be clear of people and no one appeared to be hurt at all - just waiting for police etc to arrive.

In terms of them being out looking for fun, no doubt about it. I was coming up to the Creg heading Ramsey way, albeit rather quickly, and coming down through the gears, and they were parked up outside the pub. They literally scrambled into their cars and headed after me. To be totally fair though, there was nothing wrong with their driving that I saw.
