People in the know said not to run an induction kit on earlier scoobs due to the vibration on the MAF which damages it but I ran a K&N cone filter on my STI for the 7 years I owned her. It did start running lumpy towards the end of ownership though and the dealer I sold it to said he replaced the MAF and all was good. Not sure about the later models but if you dont get a good answer here try http://www.sidc.co.ukâ™

I personally wouldnt use K&n the way the cone is it makes a whisliling noise as the air passes through it making it the most anynnoying induction kit ever.
Also the filters are often over oiled and kill your maf sensor
After looking around ive decided to get an AEM one for my car as all you hear about them is praise. should be here today with a bit of luck :D
