Hi there,

I dont suppose anyone knows of a MK1 Focus RS for sale locally, perhaps a friend has one and has been considering selling it?

I'm aware of all that are on Manx.net and Manxads. Just want to explore all options before buying another.

We paid £8,500 from a local dealer with a year's warranty and it had just passed through the manx test. It was perfect cosmetically and mechanically so why anyone would be asking £12,000 I dont know?

We are looking to buy in the next week so were just looking for the right car.

There is an over priced one at Bespoke motors Peel.

All I can suggest is get a dealer to bring one over for you really, but I'm pretty confident you'll sort it! : - )

Yea that one at Bespoke has been there for a while. He is normally spot on with his pricing, but that car was well out.

I've also heard that while it looks great cosmetically, that there is something very wrong with its handling......like its geometry is a bit out or it has been lowered a touch. I was advised to avoid regardless.

Yea, we put a deposit down on one at the weekend (a private sale) and are hopefully picking it up tomorrow night once the bank transfer has cleared. Thanks for asking mate.

I always get nervous between payment and taking delivery, I wanted to collect it tonight.......but the guy is busy. Hopefully tomorrow will run smoothly.
