    ;)

My dash temp still doesn't seem to go high enough though, even with the new 'stat and rear temp sender.

If I can get the turbo/overboost fixed on my golf I might be interested.

How much would it be for a Golf mk4 1.9tdi 90bhp and would it be worth it?

    Thanks

    Hi there Martin

Yes definitely worth it!! Price is fixed @ £250

What over boost problem do you have? Is it going into limp mode when loading it up in 4th/5th?

Yep, limp mode and the dreaded "17965 - Charge Pressure Control: Positive Deviation" error.

    More details here http://www.myturbodiesel.com/forum/f23/new-golf-owner-turbo-issues-15477/

It's currently at a garage getting a mr muscle turbo clean, vacuum test and egr/intake clean. Hopefully that'll sort it out. I should know in the next day or so.

If I still have any money left after paying the mechanic, I'll let you know.

What sort of bhp gains would I get on the 90 (i'm guessing maybe 10ish) or is it more about a smoother power curve?

    Thanks

    Martin

Hope you get it sorted , done a few and it's usually the veins in the turbo clogged up, whip it off, vein clean, balance, put bk on away you go!

More like 20bhp and a bit more ! And 30ftlb with extra mpg!
