I have acess to a friends snap on ethos fault code reader if anyone needs any codes reading/ erasing etc. £25 a plug in.
Thought I'd share as its a hell of a lot cheaper than garage prices. :D

Too right, most main dealers charge circa £80 just to plug in the diagnostics! Well worth doing before you start the process of deduction...
I reject your reality & substitute my own..

Just to add if anyone needs BMW codes reading/clearing I've got a laptop set up with INPA and DIS with a serial to DLC cable. Can also reset adaptations, etc.
I'll be honest though, I don't understand all the diagnostic information yet ;)

Yeah I had a code on my scoob and barty had a look for me but it had gone no info so good times..
On scoobys if you have a fault/ engine managment light just turn the ignition on and off 5 times and that clears it!!
but only do that if all is okay :dontknow:

Any idea if the reader will plug into a SPi Mini (classic shape) Tree? Something's not right on Jill's and it's not what I though it was.....

I'm not sure I have a plug like that with my ethos though I could be wrong.
