  • Driver Training - Anyone interested?

    Hi all

Looking at doing a Driver Training Course. Does any company do this on the island in your own car?

Since I have done a few little tweeks done to my car recently it is now a totally different car to drive. More Power, Better Brakes, New suspension. New Tyres etc. etc. which has changed the feel of the car.

The car can easily outperform me and my driving skills at the moment  , feel I need to catch up on what the car can do. I want to increase my car skills and be able to safely use the extra power and handling the car has now gained, hence I feel the need for driver training.

I have looked at Driver Training Courses in the UK, such as, http://www.catdrivertraining.co.uk/ and these can give accreditation and insurance reduction certificates once you complete the course.

Would anyone be interested in getting a company such as 'CAT' over to do Training? Maybe in conjunction with the Duke Trackday in February. If anyone on here has any connection or know the organisers of the Track days, could ask and see if this would be possible?

Just an idea at the moment, so suggestions welcome.

    Thanks

    Kev
