    Hi all,

Is there anywhere on the Island that can check the chassis itself, make sure nothing is bent out of shape? I'm having trouble with ARB droplinks constantly snapping. I'm pretty sure its just because of stiffer suspension/lower car/bumpy roads but I'd like to make sure its not anything to do with the chassis being bent! I don't know of anyone else having trouble with their drop-links on stiffer/lower suspension, hence the worry! It also always seems to be the drivers side droplink.

    Cheers,
    Jay

If it you jack it up and look at both sides and they don't look noticeably different then i wouldn't of thought that would be the cause.

I think for the jig needed to check the chassis, it's a fairly pricey/big piece of kit so I imagine you're restricted to the bigger boys when it comes to bodyshops.

I'm fairly sure Autocrash had the kit years ago. The likes of Dale & Colvin etc and who do the majority of insurance jobs probably do as well.

Hate to say it but you could always look in the phonebook and pick up the phone!

    Cheers guys :)

I haven't upgraded the droplinks as of yet, I'm looking into it at the moment. I've got a friend on a Prelude forum who can supply all sorts of parts, he's getting me some prices on either custom droplinks or aftermarket. Only non-OE style I've seen is Whiteline and they're £100+ each

    fe*king lol @ £100 each.

You can get all the bits from mcgill motorsports for under £60 for the pair.
