i know there a few mechanics on here!

So the garage has recommended we just get it tested

But this is exactly whatsup with it

    Rear Washer Inoperable
O/S Outer Drive Shaft Garter Perished & Cracking
    Play in O/S Steering Rack
    Corrosion on Front brake discs
Front anti roll bar drop link bushes worn
    Rear breake pads low
    N/S Repeater Inoperable
Centre Brake light has some lights out
    Bonnet Strut Fault/Missing
Knocking noise on left hand lock - suspect tyre/wheel
    Fowling on inner plastic guard

Worth fixing and testing or Part Ex it when we are accross at end of month

Apparently would pass an MOT with above wrong but maybe not pass the Manx Test

They dont sound like big faults at all! typical garage scare report...

Rear Washer Inoperable (most probably a blocked pipe or blown fuse)
O/S Outer Drive Shaft Garter Perished & Cracking (new gaters are around £5-10 & easy enough to fit)
Play in O/S Steering Rack ( most likley track rod end or track rod- cheap & easy to fix...)
Corrosion on Front brake discs (depends how servere- a good drive could clear it, worst case new discs £50ish )
Front anti roll bar drop link bushes worn ( New drop link bushes around £10)
Rear breake pads low (New pads £15 aprox - easy fit yourself)
N/S Repeater Inoperable (Most likley needs a new bulb)
Centre Brake light has some lights out (Typically LED's in light bars do go after time - should not affect a test)
Bonnet Strut Fault/Missing ( New one from scrap yard a few pounds...)
Knocking noise on left hand lock - suspect tyre/wheel (CV joint.... £50)
Fowling on inner plastic guard ( Is the plastic guard loose? Tyre/wheel could be wrong size/offset, poor damper)

Is this a car you are looking to buy or currently own? These faults certainly shouldnt put you off if its a car you really want- they are however good haggle points!
I reject your reality & substitute my own..
