    I've always wondered why they didnt do something like the touring cars over here... obviously in a time trial format, could get interested if they all went out together pushing their way round quarterbridge!

    Its a rule no contact motorsport but that always gets broken, just like the speed limits lol

    this test has bin done on a rack in england. was a superbike, f1 car and a plane, tha bike overtook the f1 car in a corner as it carried more corner speed, no car will beat 1000cc superbike around the tt course. id put millions on i. at the north west a seat touring car tried to beat the bike times and simply culdnt do it!!!

    Its not that cut and dry. The tt course and the northwest are totally different. I used the ring as an example because unlike the northwest course it has more corners. Google the lap times for a bike around the ring and then a car, you will be surprised.
