    i don't think 306's were actually ever designed to go over 50 tbh. :P

    probably not the drivers fault, when travelling at 50+ the front wheels point in two different directions and the rear wheels retract into the arches.

    only safe thing to be doing at those speeds is waterskiing.

    if someone was coming the other way and he might of crashed into them,not hard to understand brains. :twisted:

    note why i put "COULD OF"

    This is one point I think the Track up at Jurby could be really benificial and could be taken a step further by the IoM government to offer advanced driving courses or tuition on car control. I'm no expert driver and I'm not criticising the 306 driver at all I just think there is an opening for the government or Police to educate drivers to the hazzods of speed


    Really good point. I hope we get there with at least one biggish driving event each year. Up at Jurby, all the car clubs from Jags, Rollers, BMW's, Mods. Bit of hospitality, track sessions, road sessions with bobbies and the IAM. Has to beagood idea, but I'll need help.

    The crash that started this thread off was a shocker. One of lifes miracles, and just so glad that the guy is OK. Sure beats knocking on a door at 3 am.
