Anyone seen these? They're situated around the Keppel Gate area and look like speed limit signs, but the round part at the top is covered up. They look temporary and there are so many of them (about 3 or 4 lots each side of the road for about 1/4 mile) that they can't be early TT speed limit signs - or can they??

there dangerous too i come round the bend in the van and nearly hit one !
I like work: it fascinates me. I can sit and look at it for hours.

I wondered what these are for, intrigued ! and yeah Dan they are dangerous, why have them sticking out onto the road where there is lots of room to simply move them to the side!!

saw them yesterday. am tempted to have a look underneath to see what number is there lol.

had a lap last night and the signs were uncovered - some of them. speed limits!!! lol. seem to be for roadwiorks and are 50mph and 20mpd  Rotrex Baby! :D

They are temporay speed limits for road works which are due to start soon...
