Fair enough Este, I had no idea you inspired Di's song. Credit where credit is due!
Di am I right in saying that Andrea is your sister ( from Twisted Angels )? I'm sure someone told me that ages ago, probably my bro! I was speaking to her in the Traf a couple of weeks ago, said she really misses being in a band. I knew that she is a drummer like myself but had no idea she played guitar too.
Anyway seeing as the thread is moving a bit off topic another Lost Prophet song which I think is great (I dont want to say 'goosebumps'...... bit camp ) would be Shinobi vs Dragon Ninja, great guitar and drum work.
I'm aiming to be a legend, and I will be!

Nice track, not to keen on the lyrics (singing wise), more of a metal song sound a bit high.
Mind you i'm probably just used to disturbed

She played bass guitar & was lead singer.....really miss watchin them play they were brilliant and loved hearing them, was so sad wen they split but they cudnt carry on trying to make it big forever they had to go off and do their own things. 3 of them are now at uni (including steph)

Ah, so thats the Twisted Angels connection! I used to enjoy their sets more than it was cool to let on to my mates. I own a couple of their albums and really like a few of their tracks. I probably made the Andrea connection because of the blond hair! Us blokes arn't very clever!
Now as for great guitar riffs Este, check out Foo Fighters 'Monkey wrench', bit frantic but demands respect.

Was your sis the fit one?.... (myspace says it is )
Another album i've played to death and digged back out today is pure garage rewind back to old school.
Brings back good memories, bombing down the motorway.
Bit of a mash up though, but some good classics, an album worth having IMO.
Another is Sash - greatist hits thats on my next playlist.

Is that the 3 disc one with bump, grind and flex written on the cds???
I used to listen to garage all the time when I was at school, got a few Sidewinder sets on cd at home somewhere but grew out of it before I got a chance to go to Sidewinder
According to 118 118 it's not illegal to follow people while blowing kisses, a past time known commonly as stalking. However they cannot answer adult questions such as "what is the average diameter of the inside of a woman's vagina"

Yea I think Sash is great too. Best track by a Sunday mile is 'Mysterious Times'.
