Which songs give you goosebumps?

This thread is now becoming quite interesting, great to see that some rock is finding its way in too.

I'll admit I'm a raver at heart, dance music was my life for maybe ten years but the effects, synth sounds, beats are the same as they ve been for ten years now. It needs to move on, maybe some rock double bass drum beats in amongst the effects, maybe some new modern sounding harmonies or neu metal effects, I dont know.

Just referring to what my dear fellow raver Di said earlier about dance music getting harder. Does anyone else agree, I cant say I've noticed? I've got some industrial techno from the 90s that is so savage it'd make your ears bleed and at ridiculous BPM. I dont really like it, I dont think harder means better in dance music, but each unto their own.

I do quite like tears do us part even though whether it came out last year or last decade it hardly redefines the genre.

You could be onto something there thou... get rich.... mix your own tunes! ooh... actually..................................

Ha ha, Hi Este, its funny but I bought my first electric guitar a few weeks ago because I wanted to play guitar solos over some of the dance tunes I wrote on the keyboard years ago. Problem is, right now my guitar skills suck. Four weeks in I can only play two Oasis songs and a few riffs, so I'm not exactly Slash just yet, I'm working on ATB's 'Till I come' which is killing the ends of my fingers with all the bends!!

I played keyboard in a dance band in the 90s but didn't get any further than the school concert! Then I played drums for a local rock band up till last year and didn't get further than Bushy's basement bar so maybe your right and this will be my big break

If you and DD are up for some vocal/recording work, I'll give you a shout in six months when I can actually play somet and then we'll take the music world by storm!!!!!!!!

yer este mostly when we are p1ssed now adays, either on the bus or a kareoke but we used to do ace solos in our school days hehe we still have voices like angels! Was actually talkin to my mum bout being in a band the other day and wud love to be wud wanna learn the guitar tho first coz have always kinda wanted to....mite get some lessons off my sis when she's back over on the iom again

Bass is easier to play than guitar and its easier to play a guitar after playing a bass (imo)
