seen the advert the other day. Dont know of anyone whos used his services.
If your after a top job a friend of mine does very impressive valets on the weekends. Can claybar etc if required. Can pass on details if interested.
Or alternatively if youre willing to wait until hes next over. Envy Valeting does amazing work!!

From the sound of the advert it sounds like he's offering a wash - clay - wash (maybe with a snowfoam thrown in). I'm not sure if that's worth the £50 that he's asking as it should take maybe an hour.

I'm saving up for the next time Envy Valeting are over.. Have seen his work on here and detailing world and as tree says, it's amazing.

A good clay should take at least an hour on its own I would imagine.

I think an exterior wash and clay would take a good couple of hours if doing it properly.
If your getting a detail job your talking a day and about 300 of our finest pounds
there is a website i found a guy over here is charging 700 quid and using your garage power etc
Yeah I was going to get envy to do my car but cant justify the spending that much money at moment but the car needs it i must admit as its all swirrled to hell and scratched something terrible.
I would do it myself but just never seem to have the time(got a baby a real one not my bike or car ha ha).
I emailed the guy but he is a bit vague may even be foreign and there is no contact number which again is dodgy???

Claying might take an hour the first time you do it if your paint work is majorly contaminated. It takes me about 20-30 mins max to go over the whole car, but I clay every couple of months. I keep meaning to give machine correction a go but am a bit scared that I'll make a mess of it

Let me know how you get on if you do decide to go for it and if you can get in touch with the fella. Could be an option for when I've got too much other stuff to do.

I'd ask to see what other work he has done?, at least it'll give you an idea on quality, for starters his own van/car would look good?, first thing i'd look for........

    Yes I have emailed him
He said cause I asked what is ment by a stage 3? as looking up on the detailing forum it means a proper light wash then snow foam then again snow foam then clay then fine clay then machine polish which is a proper job....

    the email response was
Its a wash then a medium clay and follwed by fine then polished with tyres dressed and glass cleaned exterior thanks jon

    That was word for word?

I'd say a wash, clay and wash you'd be looking at 3hrs work maybe. What follows those stages?

Regarding when I'm over next be happy to meet up and take a look. I've just printed the permit paperwork tonight :D
Hopefully be doing my usual May trip.
    Cheers
