Hey all! Hope you are all well?

OK as some of you will no doubt know a lot of marks that cars pick up, the swirls and scratches tend to come from wash technique. A step us detailers use to try to reduce the actual amount of hands on washing/pre-washing is to use a foam lance and snow foam (also known as SSF etc).
The idea is that at step 1 of washing your car you foam the car, allow time for the foam to loosen the grit and grime, then rinse off and wash like normal. Very often this removes a hell of a lot of crap and drastically reduces the chances of damage.
On a waxed car 99% of the time you can snow foam and the jobs done, its that good at removing dirt!

I'm coming over in 3 weeks time and I have managed to talk to AutobriteDirect (no.1 supplier of foam lances/snow foam) and have agreed that I can collect some foam and lances on my way to the Steam Packet and bring them across hence saving you the horrendous P+P charges it would cost to post them out to you. Typically you're looking at saving £16.99 but you will need to collect from ME once I'm over.

The foam lances themselves can be seen http://shop.autobritedirect.co.uk/autob ... -305-p.asp £45.99

The lances come in varying fitments but the most common by a long way are the Karcher fitments. A list of whats available can be seen http://shop.autobritedirect.co.uk/foam- ... s-84-c.asp but all you need to do is tell me what fitment you need and it's included in the price.

The snow foam (5 litre size is what I'll bring) can be seen http://shop.autobritedirect.co.uk/super ... -346-p.asp £14.95

Now if you want to go for this the price on offer is £60 all in, the HD foam lance and the 5 litres of super snow foam (SSF). So on paper it looks like you are saving £0.94 on the web price (which you are) BUT if you take into account the shipping cost on top then you are actually saving ~22%

I'm more than happy to stop by on the way over, collect the stuff and bring it over but I will need payment up front (as I'll have to pay when I collect them) and I will need you to collect from me once I'm over.

If this is of interest please register your interest on the thread and I'll get in touch with more info :salute:

I'm interested in one with a Karcher fit. What if you have a sort top convertible? Will it leave marks and be hard to remove is you get some on the top?
