Hiya
Looking for some advice - I want to take out the standard integrated Jeep stereo system in our Cherokee and fit a standard single shot CD player instead. Does anyone on the IOM do adaptor plates for this, or can you recommend someone to do the fitting for me, if its not going to cost an-arm-and-a-leg?
Cheers guys.
Dave

What year & model is the cherokee? I can give you a how-to guide, Its a simple job to do yourself & will save you £20-30 fitting charge... DMS sell adaptor plates & if it does not have an ISO plug they also do the cable convertor (you may also need an antenna convertor)..

Cheers
Its a 2001 XJ, the last of the old style Cherokees, before they switched to the new "Liberty" (yuk!) version.

Here is the guide http://www.installdr.com/InstallDocs/Je ... 533001.pdf -Its straight forward enough to DIY. You will need a adaptor plate & an ISO wiring convertor , Savage Sounds or DMS should have them, if not bass junkies can supply them...

Sourced both the facia plate and capable adapter from Raymotors in Ramsey - as you said, an easy DIY job, once I got the main facia panel off. Thanks for the help.
