well my budget is round the 5k but dont mind going over for decent parts
engine wise i've already giving it a decent service new clutch 4into1 stainless steel manifold, decat and a custom built custom chrome racing exhaust also fitted and indution kit

ive got two coilovers in mind which are

    and
    http://www.driftworks.com/shop/tein-sup ... -3327.html
i dont know if i should go for the tein because you get the camber adjusting top mount

i want to keep the sound deading in but will be changing both seats for racing buckets and 3point harness and also a new steering wheel with a quick release hub (mostly for looks)

agree, but dont spend 5K! Keep it as a daily driver.

IMO If you willing to spend 5K just buy something else for purely the "track"...

learn something new every day :thumbleft:

didn't know the t stood for turbo just presumed that it stood for different year of production

well i know must people will say keep it as a daily driver but theres one thing wrong i dont have room for anymore cars at my house and i want it as my daily driver but also a car were i can take it to the track have a few laps then drive it home again
also to try and make it a little head turner too

DECENT suspension and a good set of tyres and you should be set really. I would deffo be considering losing as much weight from the car as possible though. Has it got aircon??? If it has ,honestly, how often do you use it?? I would be tempted to loose it as its a very heavy item that IMO you just dont need in our climate..

I deleted the Air-con in the Datsun, it cuts out when it came on boost anyway, but seems to added moar go, less centrifugal weight on the crank y0!

Also, HSD's are the sh*t! amazing suspension for not much monies
