At least you've got a decent one to swap bits with, makes diagnosing a fault easier!

Radio, clock, outside temp might just be a fuse?, heater is probably just the matrix, its around that age I suppose?

tis the fan thats kaput on it.
not sure what it is with the rest, they all light up but everything is un readerable on it.

the idea of having a sixth gear highly appeals, need something decent for the motorway, sitting at 3k revs on the motorway starts to get irritating after the first 30 miles!

try my fiesta with decat manifold and straight through exhaust at 3-4k revs for 250 miles. wasnt any chance of me falling asleep at the wheel

Try and s1 rallye 70 mph 5k rpm... baddddd for a 3.5 hour journey.

Well clutch is on the way out on the blue GTI.
so looks like i might as well stick a lightend fly wheel in her as well. half the weight of the old one.
Also looking at roller bearing for the wishbones. but not sure on that yet. with our manx roads being so smooth and that. not sure how hard a ride it will give.

Its had cambelt and everything eles in there changed. had to stick a coil pack on as well. as number 2 went down. but not to much bother to change. just nicked it off the other one!!!
