Looking nice! staying OEM with the engine or getting a few nice uprated toys for it?

Don't like the thought of them myself, the thought of getting smashed in the face is horrible, more so when I have to where glasses for driving, I'd imagine it'd break my nose!

I hate airbags to they do the most damage in a car crash

I'd rather hit my head on a pillow of air than a stealing wheel to be honest!!! Manufacturers wouldn't fit them if they didn't save lives. I'd rather a Broken nose than a smashed skull. Thought the worst injury from airbags was friction burns on the forearms from the initial deployment??? If you have a seatbelt on they must help. Fair comment about glasses though, they could do some damage!!!

Yeah i know theyre there for a safety measure, I just personally dislike them.. and seeing a sits my life on the line then heyho out they go. :) I do agree they are a good invention though and do work.

I also put 'where' instead of wear........ atrocious!

Whether airbags are safer or not, It depends on the crash I suppose, I'd just rather not crash in the first place!

Not done any updates in a while but a lot of work has still been taking place.
Basically engine bay now fully resprayed, siliconed the seams to prevent water ingress and waxooiled crevaces...

Front subframe repainted along with ARB.
    New bushed front arms fitted.

    ABS removed
    Aircon removed
    Airbags removed.

Been at the wiring loom for the entire car lately. removing all asscotaited wires for ABS, airbag, Aircon and any sensors I have deemed uneccesary. Brake fluid level warning lamp... err no thanks.. fan speed low.... naaa. just the 1 is fine.... variable fuel pump voltage... no thanks. hard wire please... rewire the AYC ECU so that it now sees the ABS wheel speed sensors to maintain functionality.

oh also relocating the fusebox inside the car behidn the dash to tidy up the engine bay. :)
So yeah. taken a lot of time but not finished yet.

Engine isnt assembled yet as been making the most of the nice weather.. block is done.. just need to sort head and get it all together.

Brembos are recieving a refurb too paint wise.. :) fronts are off and being done at the moment..
Need to jack up the now fully sorted rear and get the back brembos off too once theese are done.

Brake servo resprayed and master cylinder cleaned along with the absolutely fulthy clutch master cylinder... dont think it had ever seen a fluid change..

So yeah... good progress... still lots to go. :hello1:

Let me know if you ever sell this car as i'd be a fool not to buy a 6 that is in better condition than it left the factory!!!

Excellent work there tree, loving the car and cannot wait to see it out on the road.
