No worries. If you're on a budget, I have another set of front brembos that you could have for free? Just calipers. Obviously they could do with a paint/lacquer but AFAIK the seals etc are all good.

Only if you dont need them mate and your sure.. would be greatly appreciated.

Been wiring all day. back and knees are v sore... got lighting loom done for indicators, horn, lights, rad fan etc... all sorted and ready to roll.
Onto engine loom tonight, just to sodler a few wires in and hopefully get it mostly reconstructed ready to fit soon.
Then its just a case of placing fusebox ( somehwere withibn the dash) and running new wiring to it.

why solder? why not crimp? solder can crack under vibration. crimp is better and better flow through it.

was thinking about alternatives today actually. soldered some wires. detachable crimped others for small signal wires. but need to do decent connections on the beefy wires carrying current. :)
Needless to say im sick of wires now...

Brembos sprayed and stickered. stickers from toxic motorsport vinyl.

Loom wiring sorted, lights wiring sorted. Ended up ripping out that stupid Toad alarm system....

Dash now back in, wiring almost all done. just reconecting up the fusebox, which is now in the boot... behind the dash was a bit cramped and would have been a pain if I needed to change relays/fuses. Had battery roughly connected other day testing front end fettled electrics such as lights, horn indicators etc... all is well.

Fitted brembos today, made up new brake lines last night and borrow a mates flaring tool, fitted today and bled through, I now have brakes and a clutch. :D
all Oils in appropriate boxes. Will probably need to top up PAS when engine starts and not fitted radiator yet as waiting on downpipe gasket (easier to fit with rad out)

So yeah its coming together now... as soon as I recieve my electrical crimps (hoping today) can finish off electrics and get the interior back in...
    :) :hello1:

Good show! Not long now hopefully. One question though, will the stickers cope with the heat on the calipers?

If you are stuck for crimps, I have some you can borrow. Just give me a text if you want them.
