Well as most of you know im back home again. Travelling wasnt for me... so I came home and bought this:
    DSCF24581.JPG

full 3inch system inc turbo elbow and an unfortunate blitz VTA BOV..

Having missed my old 5 when I sold it i foudn this 6 on island.
On returning from my travels I arranged to stop off at a supposed performance car dealer.... located down london.. We visited the place ( a small warehouse) where tehre were severeal supras, a few skylines and a couple of evos. He said he had loads of 5/6s in stock and upon ariving he had only 2 6s and 1 5... All of which were absolute nails. They coulnt answer any technical questions. one of the evos appeared to have been crashed as the bumper had been sprayed and wasnt aligned... all very dodgy...
What they seem to do is put up adverts of nice looking evos that they dont have and then say they have been sold when you arrive and then yet I see the same adverts reposted again and again.... steer clear and be wary!! If anyone wants to knwo who this business was pm me... always advertises evos on pistonheads...

Anyways yes picked up this little 6 for a good price.. and yet have ended up spending a small fortune on it. :D
Its jacke dup outside the front at the moment awaiting parts that are in the post....
    on order:
    walbro 255 pump
    hardwire kit for pump
    new selector bushes
ralliart front and rear top mounts
    eibach springs
    ralliart engine,box and diff mounts
full powerflex kit to replace every bush on the car (had to get one or 2 polybush of differing brand to get all bushes) ordered 2 oe replacements also as they are of the pillowball type. :D
    all fluids and oils.
    gizzmo boost controller
a new set of 3mm lash adjusters
a k+N pannel filter for stock airbox.
    and a carbon NACA duct

still need to order tyres.. and get it fully aligned when bushes arrive and I get them fitted.

Ant is doing a remap on it mid february when hes over. so should hopefully see 350/350...
Recently learned you can get a cable and do it yourself though, not tried mapping a turbo car but I think I probably will end up getting said cable and having a fettle in the future.

Not looking at chasing power in this. 350 is plenty quick for the roads and fun on the track and should be pretty reliable too.

Have a few ideas for the car though cosmetically... nothing major I wouldnt say as I think they look quite well standard.
refit car computer alongside cd player, and (dont hate me) fitting my LED lighting system for undercar lights...
I think they will go well on the evo but will probably not be to many peoples taste.

Anyways will get it all sorted and post up pics when its sat at a different height and looking a bit cleaner.

    :D

looks good. i wont pass comment on the LEDs until ive seen them as im sure you wont go for the cheapest ones that look like a chavs house at christmas

that scam is used by loads of people. had it when looking in the uk for vans and i know someone who had the same with a focus rs. always seem to be lowish mileage and a good price, u ring up or get there and its 'i literally sold that one 10 minutes ago but ive got this one here' and shows you something that could only be described as a Focus aRSe with higher mileage yet somehow more expensive
