    Not managed to do a huge amount due to the weather and TT, but below is a couple of more pics....

    I think hammerite do a paint that eats rust but be careful with it cos you might come back to the ramp and only 4 wheels left on it :lol: nice car kid , hope all goes well !!

    Heh, the main tool for working on these is a dustpan & brush.... Managed to strip the cage & buckets out of it last night and thankfully there wasn't too many surprises there, apart from the cage not being fitted properly :roll:

    Wiring & Dash are now all out of the Escort. Unfortunately my back is screwed again...

    Next job on the list is to whip the engine out, remove the windscreen, remove what's left of the old dash then start stripping the engine bay & interior paintwork to see what's hiding beneath....

    keep going Lee, i expect to see merlin back on the road soon, you'll have to have a butchers at my nephews Cortina, its kicking Gells bike out of the garage soon lol
