Blackett the champion of photography! Real nice guy as well.
Wish I could have joined you Mr Warbington. Did you get out on the big track much? Last time I was there it was frozen till 12 then the queue was insane!
He was a top chap, told me to 'get out' of the figure 8's after half an hour. Flapped around the kidney for a bit, was mega slick so took some getting and hit the big track from 1-4. The queue was never more than about 8 people for the big track so was seat time city (most people there never left the playpens) but that was wet with big puddles everywhere, which is a pain when your car is getting hot so you have to open the windows because of the heaters. I have a cold now
If i can get time off work i'm aiming for october time, you shall be there or be trapezoidal...
Pod revealed a sticky thermostat and partially blocked radiator.
A new thermostat and a koyo n-flow rad were fitted
My wheels needed refurbing after I kerbed one a while ago. Decided to change the colour, unfortunately the paint was a disaster so we had to redo them in white until another colour is sorted. Doesn't look bad tbh.
Been doing a few bits & bobs to try and get it ready for pod next month.
Changed all the rose joints in my nearly new DW rear arms
Engine mounts: I'm too tight & pikey to buy proper ones so hockey pucks were the obvious choice.
On my hunt for a fairly major boost leak I found the egr valve to be leaking around the "UFO" so seeing as I have an tubi mani that got F**K off.
Finally put my 225/45 dunlops on the front as the 215/45 kumhos had worn to the canvas.... I think it's a bit too much tyre but can't afford anything else right now.
