ok, no else has had a guess so im gonna go for it in the 'guess the tyre' comp:

    Federal RS-R's???

You reallllllllly need to get some Toyo R888's on there b4 they r made illegal for road use, its like having a tube of super glue on each corner!
I spend all my money on drugs, women and fast cars, the rest i waste.

Indeed they are mate :thumbleft: i have to say they are very comparable to the r888 in terms of performance, not quite as good in the dry, but miles better in the wet.

Also r888's do seem to melt a bit when you stick them on a heavy bus, on my friend pete's car they worked well, but thats a stripped out old shed

yeah i cant argue with your comment about short life, i killed a set of the r888's after half a day round thruxton, but they were on a 2 and a bit ton car and i wasnt being gentle lol

Ill have to give the federals a try out if they do the size for mine, I am willing to bet they are a damn sight cheaper than the toyo's too.

*EDIT* Hmmm cant find em in my size, only in 18", thats a shame i would have given them a whizz.

Yea, sadly the federals are as rare as rocking horse poo.

Where were you looking for the federals btw?

Some of the kumho's are getting some good reviews from the track lads.

Pretty much everywhere on tinternet, even as far afield as australia lol.

My 'preferred' supplier is camskill, mainly cos they is cheeeeeeeeeap like the budge but the only 'trackday' tyre they list in my size is YOKOHAMA AD08 ADVAN NEOVA so may give them a try. I have been told tho the vredestein tyres work particularly well on my car and make a good 'all rounder' so may give them a shot. I need 2 fronts anyway so will probably give them a go next week, then try the yoki's when i have killed thats on there.

I would go for the Yoko's, i tried some of those vredestein's and to be honest thought there were absolute wank, but then I guess with yours being 4WD it may be a bit less fussy in the tyre department.

Yeah i had serious doubts about the vred's when i was told, but the feedback on them from a couple of RS forums is nothing but good. Seems they work well on the lardy barge, maybe its cos its 4 wheel drive i dont know, but ill give em a try.

Not a huge update, as to be fair i haven't done a huge deal.

Got rid of the old saggy Rear trailing arm bushes that were the root of my high speed instability.

If in doubt, blow torch out:

New Rogue Polly bushings in, job done (well minus the insert)

Then took it to the AJEC racing day at castle Combe with a few mates, who kindly took the odd picture.

    I like this car!

Although I always seem to see you buying parts almost as often as me, which is worrying

Where is the picture of you on track fully sideways with lots of smoke?

Rilla, Federal RSR available here if you need them. Not cheap though
