This will be up for sale next week (after it has had a full body machine polish to remove some surface marks and I have a new 'RS' boot badge to attach) but I thought Id show some pics.

It has 43k on the clock, just refurbed the alloys and new tyres, drilled and grooved front discs with red stuff pads all round (all new), stainless exhaust, induction kit and Im not sure but I think its had a bluefin remap (The garage said it had but no proof apart from the keyring you get with a bluefin controler).

Gorgeous! I think you should keep it another year then sell it to me when my M3 is paid off ( I've promised Lyndo one then! ).

Oh and watch those machine polishes, they can really F up paintwork if they re done wrong, dont pay cheaply or accept a favour.

I'd honestly treat it to a good clear wax like Turtlewax ice, you wont even see the hairline scratches or swirls after a good application!

Forgot to mention. What sets this out from other RS's is the metallic flake lacquer. This looks great when the sun is out and you catch the car on the right angle.

Also its very subtle. From a distance you wouldnt know, u would just think its very shinney :)

With the polish, Im having a bodyshop here in Ramsey do it. They did it on the Leon Cupra and what a difference it made.

Sorry Jamie. The selling price of these seems to be very good right now (even given the credit crunch). PH has them selling at 10K+ for vgc motors with higher milage than mine so I can undercut their prices and get a quick sale :)

plus you could probably get a better price for it on the IOM if it was manx reg and would be easier to sell

DD: Car has been through its manx test (only needed new tyres which are now fitted). Car will be sold with 12 months TAX.

Yes I just got it in p/x on my Leon but I never wanted to keep it. Im after a Astra VXR.
