    very, means he cant just put that box on. means more delay.

    after suggestions to simply weld the box and failing to find soemone who could weld it quickly. i decided tonight to distamntle the box! and whata good job it was i did!!!!

    absolutely filthy! dirtiest box ive seen yet.

    discovered the planet gears in teh diff were slightly F**K!

    This box will give me a nice 14 x 60 final drive which isnt quite as short as the rallye 13x59 but still damn close!!!

    so tomorrow order new oil seals and get soem gasket paste to seal her back up nice n tight and then shes ready to go on.

    Cant wait to have decent ratios again!!!

    didnt get a chance to go and order new seals so tahst mondays job.

    today sump off and took of all the old gasket (it was leaking)

    refitted sump and trial fitted the bodies. (had to make a few alteratiosn to get the manifold to fit)

    The gearbox is reassembeld and ready to go on just need to modify the selectors to accomodate new rose joints and awaiting oil seals :D

    cheers for everyones comments so far ive been to busy to actually read them until now LOL. just in post pic mode dont actually look at everyone says.

    took the griner to the standard nipples and punched them out to fir rose jointed linkages

    New driveshaft oil seals went on and new exhaust-head gaskets

    reassembled the frotn end of the vehicle

    Throttle cable holster that dad helped me make up as im crap at that sort of thing. not ideal but itll do for now..

    Attatched otehr rear arch that had been freshly sprayed but it got contaiminated with petrol i discovered when i removed the clamps :cry:

    other arch is alright but didnt stick quite aswell. slightlty outta position

    tree she is looking sh*t hot mate cant wait to come over an if ok wit u u can take us for a blast if she ready see the diffrence from when i last went it in mate i blew to boxes since i been over here an i re placed clutch last week an it all ready gone lol
    think centre shaft is bent lol
    if ur car is not fast enough keep hamering it till it breacks then make it faster.........

    :lol: well she's if off the road again. hehe damn french cars. shes ripped a driveshaft out at the CV joint. bottom gbox mount has gone too by the looks of it. my nice clean engine bay is filthy with oil everyhwere!!
