Some of those tuned Nissan GTRs are pushing out scary stats in acceleration/lateral G in the corners etc, plus they top out around the 200MPH mark.
I'd give one of those a fair stab on the TT circuit.
I suppose certain supercars would not be suited to the circuit, a McLaren F1 (with a decent brake upgrade) would surely bottom out over Ballaugh bridge. I suppose ground clearance wipes out the likes of Ultimas etc too.
I'm aiming to be a legend, and I will be!

yeah, GTRs give some nice lateral Gs, my mate was getting 1.3 on some country roads with his standard GTR

It just seemed like the perfect car to tackle the TT course. Incredible handling and sub 8 second 0-100 stats in even mildly modified cars. No ground clearance issues like many a supercar.
Surely a better contender than even the mighty 911GT3 RS.
I'm aiming to be a legend, and I will be!

couple more on there now. one at sulby he was vary tame, so id say theres a lot more to go. thing is he wont be allowed to push it to the limits, because no dowt if he stuffs it that be the last car ever allowed on. so what ever time he sets id say he could well improve on it if it was in a race, plus no co driver so no real pace notes

No pace notes? Why would he need them? You don't see the TT riders carrying a passenger

last time i looked mark higgins had never drove around the course on bike at race speeds or on a bike takes years to learn it, so a few pace notes wont harm

Didn't realise "standard" Subaru's had their engines removed and refitted by Teg Sport either!! They Probably just removed the engine to gain access to that headlamp bulb that blew on the journey from America!!!!
Mitsubishi do it with all evos that are imported into the uk. The fq 400 was forged to allow it to safely run the power upgrade, so I assume that Subaru would do the sme. Mitsi used ralliart as the company to officially make the fq cars, so it's not unreasonable to assume that Subaru would do the same sort of thing. After all does sti not stand for "Subaru technica international". I thought that was just a tuning branch for them...
Now with added booooooost!!! 1.7bar peak holding 1.6 ish....
