cannot wait to see this Happening on monday 2.05 pm, wednesday 4.00pm & friday 3.15 pm for those that dont know it, the tt course hasnt been driven by a car road closed since Tony Pond in 1990 in a standard production Rover V6 827 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G6noOET7EikThis year David Higgins in a subaru

It wasn't a completely standard car for his best time.
Will be great to see the Subaru give it a crack though!

It will be great to see Mark Higgins back on the island for a driving event!! (I've been told it will be Mark Higgins driving the scooby).
I for one think this will be the highlight of the TT this year!!

Can't wait to see the average speed, 21 years of development must have increased it from Tony Ponds 100mph lap.

Shame i'm working on those days so fair chance i'll miss it, might make wednesday 4pm though....
Will be bloody great to compare the videos and how fast the car will be compared to the bikes.

Although an impreza isnt the best car for it- I think it will give it a good go- Im guessing a 110 lap... Get your bets in!
Lets hope the weather is dry for the event!

Ah, then I was wrong  That article seems to imply there is just one attempt on the Friday, butthere's 3 times listed throughout the week. Can anyone clarify?
