Hi we have now sorted the details for the Jurby Drag race event on the 26th and 27th of September

Track open from 10.30 till 5pm on both days
The event is open to both cars and bikes
charge to get in will be £5 with no charge for accompanied kids
Cost to go on track will be £35 per day or £60 for 2 days if paid for on the saturday
    The car classes will be
    11.3
    12.3
    13.3
    14.3
    15.3
    16.3
These are your bracket classes so if you enter say the 14.3 class you are trying to go as near that time as you can but not faster if you go faster than the bracket time it is called a brakeout and the computer will put you up into the class above IE 13.3 class so be careful witch class you enter
and we will have a demo class for any unusual cars

Awards for fastest cars in each class plus a top car shoot out at the end with a trophy for the overall winner
it will work like this the top car in each class will go head to head so the winner of the 11.3 class may race the winner of the 15.3 class NOT FAIR I HEAR YOU SAY but our timing system will give the slower car the correct start so if we had 2 perect times the slower car would get 4 sec start and so on
The bikes will go into all the normal Straightliners classes
And dont forget we are over for the RAMSEY SPRINT on the 3rd of September but this is just bikes
Thats all for now Trevor (Straightliners)

I'm guessing the 205 would probably be around 16.3 but am tempted.

This sounds like fun, what happens if you are slow for the class you pick, are you demoted as well as promoted?
