I think he's from the UK. That's why we're getting all the "tried & failed" terrible ideas from across that have been proven not to work, make the roads more dangerous & drivers more angry & aggressive.

Why can't the government appoint Manx people for these important jobs?

Went ok Dave, Good speaches from all & very interesting.
Was good to hear that the new chief constable & chief inspetor are for road saftey, but not to make motorists feel 'targeted', "Prosecute bad drivers, but not to punish genune mistakes" was a great quote from Mike.

Ok its a shame they are not 'petrol heads' & do not know the iom roads as muh as some- But they seem enthusiastic which is good.
Great meeting emesde & thanks for the invite!

Pretty well attended -about 40+ people .
Mike Langdon seems a pretty switched on guy and what came across was that the police are getting better at targetting resourses at the areas of worst crime, worst driving , worst anti-social behaviour etc.
Richard Power the Inspector for the roads policing unit was there too and he also is keen on the Education route of driver training rather than the enforcement route. Drive safely and legally and you should have no problems. :D
