Re: Riding the white line

Nicely put Cret - Maybe I didn't make my rant long enough to explain it as good as you did! I was probably more directing my comments at the groups you find pushing their way to the front at TT, or for example when sat waiting to turn right at a roundabout (where a bike coming in front would stop yo...

Re: Riding the white line

At the end of the day, if the traffic is stationary therefore bikers 'have the right to pass' then if they do they're not going to get anywhere. If they do, that means they have had to push their way into already waiting queue, only to stop someone else who has been waiting there patiently from pull...

Re: Hazzards flashing "too fast"

Do you get the same problem with the indicators? ie not just on hazzards? I'd guess not enough resistance therefore not the correct bulbs for the relay as already suggested. Too fast would mean smaller wattage so likely to be a 5w in the front rather than 21w or something to that effect!

Re: RWD...

Enough of the hair dressers cars... You get one for the handling and driving, end of! And if you don't like them because of people who might call you a puff, then man up a bit!

Re: Saxo VTR Progress - The good the bad and the....odd...

You still looking for RWD fun? Came across a mk1 Imported MX5 at work today, was in between 1-2k but could find out proper details if you're interested? I'm slightly bias owning one, but they're good fun in the handling department!!

Re: T-Piece - Where to buy?

Popped up to Compressed Air Services, and the very helpful chap had a look, scratched his head and got very baffled. In the end he didn't think it was a 1/8, and more like a very worn 10x1! Which would make more sense as its from a Land Rover, and it's not like them to use a common thread, and more ...

Re: New road tax rules

They are being consistent - They'll only tax on CO2 if the UK peeps write it on the V5s... Otherwise they don't have a clue!

Re: T-Piece - Where to buy?

the od is approx 9.5ish mm, and there are 7threads in 1/4inch, therefore 28tpi, closest I can find on wiki to that is a od of 9.7 and 28tpi being a 1/8bsp... do those workings sound about right??
