Re: Octane boost - which garages?

Cheers Tree Yeah mate - an import Mira. My gran donated it for mrs to learn to drive in. :D Gonna need a disguise for when I go out in it though. It's proper bad, and not in a good way. Managed to get 55mph out of it so far, but like I say, it's got 2 year old juice in it so it's not going to do the...

Re: Beemer clutch - what garages charge sensible labour?

Good suggestions chief, but I only had the car a month or two and privately bought. It's an 05 one so miles out of warranty, but very very low mileage (the main reason I went for this one). Think possibly if I had been a regular customer at the BMW garage then maybe they'd give it a thought, but I'v...

Beemer clutch - what garages charge sensible labour?

Got a 320D recently (E90) and it's a lovely car but at just 31K miles the clutch is starting to slip. Pathetic!!! So, having bought the most expensive car I've ever paid for and with the lowest miles of any car I've owned, I'm already faced with a costly bill after a few weeks. I can buy a LUK clutc...

Octane boost - which garages?

Could do with a bottle of octane boost if anyone knows a garage either in douglas or south that sells it? Got given a car that I've just had to tax as it's been off the road nearly 2 years. Has a full tank of juice but obviously the fuel won't be in the best state. It runs ok, but after the fuel has...

Re: One Eyed Monsters

There's no point posting up specially about 'a' car with a light out, or reporting it no, but there's nothing wrong with moaning about the vast number of them when there's no reason to be so many. It may seem minor but in poor visibility conditions especially a lack of light, or no brake lights at a...

Must be irritating to get stopped like that but I suppose it's ultimately in everyone's interests that they do checks like that.

Wanted - impreza seats

Ideally front and back but front only might do.
Must be in pretty good condition, and not too dear, but will consider whatever anyone has.

Re: Cod mw3..

I got MW3 for PS3 and love it like you say its way better than Black Ops but I'm not actually sure why, it just is.

Not played it as much as I want to though yet. Some ace maps though!

Re: Thieving Scumbags

Tossers! Oddly enough, I was wondering if the same thing had happened to my small trolley jack as it's been outside for a little bit and I can't find it now.
Luckily the big one is safely tucked up inside the garage.

Re: 1979 MZ TS250 Cafe Racer

I think you're a sick animal for buying an MZ matey, but at least you're doing a stand up job of changing it to not look like one anymore.
Look forward to seeing it finished buddy.

Just stripping my bike at the moment too for a few goodies.... :D
