Hey, that'll be me. That is my next project as I binned the last one in the hillclimb. Yeah it overfuels a fair bit as its got a big turbo and a set of cams but its on a standard map and injectors running 6psi at the moment - its well slow. Waiting to get it through the test before putting the rest ...

Hey, cheers for the support guys - really appreciate it. I had a bit of a stiff neck the next day but that was about it. I consider myself pretty lucky. Cret - Really appreciate the offer on the shell. Will probably come have a look at the weekend if your not busy - fortunately my bootlid is about t...

If its coming from behind the bellhousing it does sound like the rear crank oil seal :( There's a good guide here http://www.sxoc.com/vbb/showthread.php?s=&threadid=3800 on how to do it. Definatley leave the gearbox attached, its alot easier than removing it before hand. Its an easy job to do, n...

Crap :( thats bad news. It could be your rear crank oil seal perhaps which is a pain to do. Its gearbox, flywheel clutch etc off minimum. I'm not sure if the crank has to come out or not. Does it leak when the engine is running or just sitting there? Probably just the sump hasnt sealed up, that woul...

Them pipes are a pain. My one is split as well, luckily it hadnt gone all the way through so its currently wrapped up in eletrical tape. Its holding!! I'm sure industrial equipment or dms will have a bit of pipe, doesnt have to be anything special. Fuel hose would do. Did you use instant gasket or b...

Hey cret, they look terrible lol. Long as the crank aint bad tho. Them plug gaps are a bit ott. Standard plug gap is 1.1mm, close it down to 0.8-0.9mm if your running a bit more boost. You can run 15psi before hitting fuel cut - there 10psi standard. Your not interested in the uprated shocks and low...

I agree, it probably was a bit strong saying they were rubbish. They serve there purpose well and as long as you map properly beyond where fuel cut used to be, there fine. True, most ecu's have correction and will fuel beyond stock boost but not beyond fuel cut. I have never heard of a manufacturer ...

It looks like a bit of a bargain for 180 quid. The bodywork looks really decent all though I only saw it quickly. I'd be chuffed with it. The sump only needs to come down enough for you to get a spanner in there to undo the 3 bolts holding the oil pickup pipe on. Once the oil pickup pipe is off I do...
