I'm about to collect my new (to me) Alfa Spider which means that sooner or later I'm going to need a mechanic. Can anyone recommend somebody, preferably with Alfa experience? Is there an 'approved' Alfa garage over here?

digger, shagnasty- thanks for the advice. For anyone else in the same boat, read on.... I ended up talking to several people 'in the trade' and they all agreed nobody on the island does true "Alloy Wheel Refurbishment", but there are many places who will clean them up and paint them, basic...

There are at least a couple of places who now refurbish alloy wheels (Autocrash, Up2scratch, probably some more). Does anyone have any experience with these or other companies?
